DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets feature a robust, thin metallic outer shell that carefully encases a resilient filler material. This cutting-edge design ensures unmatched protection for the filler, delivering outstanding resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handcrafted and available in a broad spectrum of shapes and sizes, with a high-end selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs add further versatility, making these gaskets indispensable for heat exchanger applications, though precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads are required to secure an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets are engineered with one surface completely enveloped by a metal jacket, covering both the OD and ID. These gaskets are ideally suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly used in heat exchanger applications, adeptly managing corrosive and high-temperature environments with ease.
Internal ribs or pass partition bars can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in every configuration.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are perfect for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring they are both versatile and reliable.
Jackets are crafted from high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, providing unparalleled durability and performance.
Filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, offering remarkable adaptability for diverse applications.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), adhering to exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm).
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead for optimal compatibility.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, requiring the use of Class 1500 for superior performance.
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, necessitating alternative configurations.
