DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Crafted with precision, our metal jacketed gaskets boast a durable thin metallic shell that surrounds a resilient filler. This pioneering design offers maximum protection against pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is handcrafted and available in a variety of shapes and sizes, with top-grade metals and fillers. Optional internal ribs add flexibility. These gaskets are essential for heat exchanger applications, requiring precise flange surfaces and high bolt loads for an optimal seal.
The single jacketed gaskets, featuring one surface fully encased by a metal jacket, cover both the OD and ID, making them ideal for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Ingeniously designed, double jacketed gaskets feature a dual-piece metal jacket that thoroughly encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Perfect for heat exchanger applications, they excel in handling corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and flues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with a simple design are perfect for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal combustion machines. Those with complex shapes are ideal for flange covers in heat exchangers and similar applications. Generally, gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, withstanding pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them versatile and trustworthy.
Our jackets are crafted from a selection of premium materials such as soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
Filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other durable materials, ensuring resilience and reliability.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), upholding exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, requiring the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
