DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Introducing our masterfully designed metal jacketed gaskets: an epitome of engineering excellence. Each gasket features a robust yet flexible thin metallic outer shell that perfectly cradles a durable filler material. This avant-garde craftsmanship ensures top-notch protection for the filler, endowing the gasket with unparalleled resistance to high-pressure, extreme temperature, and corrosive conditions. Our gaskets, available in a vast selection of shapes and sizes, are handcrafted with precision using superior metals and fillers. Customizable internal ribs offer extra adaptability, making these gaskets essential for heat exchanger operations, although they necessitate precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads for an immaculate seal.
Single jacketed gaskets boast a unique design with a metallic jacket that completely envelops one surface, including both the outer diameter (OD) and inner diameter (ID). These gaskets are perfectly suited for narrow flange widths within low-pressure valve and pump applications, providing excellent sealing efficiency.
Our double jacketed gaskets are a marvel of innovation, crafted with a dual-piece metal jacket that comprehensively encases the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly favored for heat exchanger purposes, thriving in environments marked by corrosive substances and high temperatures.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded into the design, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, further enhancing the gasket's reliability.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with simple designs are ideally suited for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces in internal-combustion machines, providing robust and effective sealing. Those with more complex shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications, broadening their utility. Typically, these versatile gaskets range in width from 10-25 MM and have a thickness of 2MM-8MM, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa.
The jackets are crafted from a variety of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and others, ensuring outstanding performance and longevity.
The fillers available include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, providing a robust foundation that enhances the gasket's performance.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely defined at (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to the highest standards of precision.
(1). For gaskets spanning NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are expertly controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are not available, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, the absence of Class 600 flanges mandates the use of Class 1500.
(4). Class 2500 flanges are unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
