DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET

Single jacketed gaskets boast a single surface, completely enveloped by a metal jacket that covers both the OD and ID. They are ideal for narrow flange widths and are the perfect choice for low pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are primarily utilized in heat exchanger applications and expertly handle corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, are seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains uncompromised in either configuration, providing a flawless seal.

Gaskets with straightforward designs are tailored for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal combustion engines, ensuring dependability. Intricate shapes are ideal for the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span between 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring versatility and reliability.
Jackets are crafted from a superior selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and beyond.
Filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, providing exceptional sealing performance.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring the most exacting standards are met.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
