DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are engineered to perfection with a durable yet elegant thin metallic outer shell that encases a resilient filler of supreme quality. This avant-garde design guarantees exceptional protection for the filler, delivering unmatched resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is a masterpiece, meticulously handmade, available in an extensive variety of shapes and sizes, crafted from a premium selection of metals and fillers. The customizable internal ribs provide unparalleled versatility. These gaskets are indispensable for heat exchanger applications, though precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads are necessary to attain an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets are designed for optimal efficiency, featuring one surface fully enveloped by a sturdy metal jacket that covers both the OD and ID. These gaskets are ideal for applications involving narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump operations.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a sophisticated two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They excel in heat exchanger applications and are exceptionally adept at managing corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, enhancing the integrity and longevity of the seal.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and the sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate designs excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar critical applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them versatile and highly reliable across applications.
The jackets are meticulously crafted from a curated selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring superior performance and durability.
The filler options comprise a diverse range of resilient materials such as expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and others, tailored to meet the most demanding requirements.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely calibrated at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards and offering peace of mind with each application.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), assuring precision in every detail;
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead, adapting to industry requirements;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500, ensuring compatibility and safety;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, ensuring tailored solutions for every size and specification.
