DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our masterfully engineered metal jacketed gaskets boast a robust metallic outer shell that meticulously encases a resilient filler material. This avant-garde design provides unparalleled protection to the filler, delivering extraordinary resistance against pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handcrafted, available in a vast array of shapes and sizes, utilizing a sophisticated selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs offer additional versatility. These gaskets are essential for heat exchanger applications, demanding precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to ensure an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets, featuring a single surface enveloped entirely by a metal jacket covering both the OD and ID, are perfect for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets are brilliantly crafted with a two-piece metal jacket that extensively encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly employed in heat exchanger applications, expertly managing corrosive environments and high temperature conditions.
Internal ribs or pass partition bars can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in all configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fumes
> Pumps
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with uncomplicated designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar uses. Typically, general gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, enduring maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them versatile and reliable.
Jackets are crafted from an elite selection of high-quality materials such as soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and others.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other durable materials.
The gasket thickness tolerance is stringently set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are not available, requiring the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
