DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our meticulously crafted metal jacketed gaskets boast a robust, thin metallic outer shell that encapsulates a resilient filler. This cutting-edge design offers unparalleled protection for the filler, delivering outstanding resistance against pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is handcrafted with precision and is available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, featuring a premium range of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs provide added versatility. These gaskets are essential for heat exchanger applications, although they demand precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets feature a single surface, completely enveloped by a metal jacket that covers both the OD and ID. These are ideally suited for low-pressure valve and pump applications with narrow flange widths.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a two-piece metal jacket that comprehensively encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Primarily used in heat exchanger applications, they expertly handle corrosive and high-temperature environments with ease.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal retains its integrity in all configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boilers and fuses
> Pumps
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion engines. Those with intricate shapes are exceptional for flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Generally, these versatile and reliable gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa.
Jackets are expertly crafted from a selection of high-quality materials such as soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
Filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), adhering to exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm).
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are not available, requiring the use of Class 1500.
(4). Class 2500 is not available for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
