Double jacketed gaskets boast a revolutionary design with a dual-piece metal jacket, expertly encapsulating the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Gaskets with clean, straightforward designs are the perfect solution for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate, complex shapes excel in covering the flanges of heat exchangers and similar demanding applications. Typically ranging from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, these general gaskets withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, embodying versatility and reliability.
Our jackets are crafted from a premium selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring durability and performance.
Filler options encompass a variety of resilient materials, including expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, among others, offering adaptability to diverse applications.
The gasket thickness tolerance is meticulously set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), adhering to exacting and stringent standards.
(1). For gaskets spanning from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are rigorously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are not available, necessitating the use of Class 600 as an alternative;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, requiring the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is not available for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
