Our virgin grade PTFE gaskets are derived directly from the resin, unshaped, and unprocessed, ensuring the utmost in physical integrity and unparalleled electrical insulation. PTFE gaskets are engineered from a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene, composed entirely of carbon and fluorine. This gives them a natural hydrophobic property, effectively repelling water and substances containing water, while providing one of the lowest coefficients of friction among all solids.
