DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are engineered with an exceptionally robust thin metallic outer shell that meticulously encases a resilient filler material. This avant-garde design ensures the utmost protection for the filler, offering unparalleled resistance to pressure, extreme temperatures, and corrosion. Every single gasket is meticulously handmade, available in a diverse array of shapes and sizes, crafted with a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs provide additional versatility, making these gaskets indispensable for heat exchanger applications; however, they do require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets showcase a design where one surface is entirely enveloped by a metal jacket covering both the OD and ID. They are ideally suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, ensuring a reliable seal.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly utilized in heat exchanger applications, adept at handling corrosive substances and high-temperature environments with remarkable efficiency.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, providing flexibility and durability.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideally suited for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines, providing dependable functionality. On the other hand, those with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them versatile and reliable for a wide range of uses.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from an elite selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring durability and performance.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, providing flexibility and adaptability to diverse applications.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards and delivering unmatched precision.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm); adhering to stringent specifications.
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, thus necessitating the use of Class 600 instead; ensuring compatibility and performance.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500; adapting to meet demanding requirements.
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, requiring alternative configurations for optimal performance.
