DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our SS316 Metal Jacket Gasket with Graphite Filler for Extreme Conditions exemplifies the pinnacle of engineering excellence. These meticulously crafted metal jacketed gaskets feature a robust metallic outer shell that encases a resilient filler material, offering unparalleled resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is handmade, ensuring precision and quality in a myriad of shapes and sizes, with a diverse selection of metals and fillers to meet all your needs. Engineered for heat exchanger applications, these gaskets require uniformly flat flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an impeccable seal. Internal ribs of any configuration can be incorporated to enhance their versatility.
Single jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a single surface and both OD and ID shielded by the metal jacket. They are ideally suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, providing dependable sealing solutions.
Double jacketed gaskets boast a comprehensive protection with a dual-piece metal jacket that envelops the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are a preferred choice in heat exchanger applications, offering excellent performance in corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or welded, ensuring the primary seal remains steadfast and reliable in both types.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers - Ensuring optimal thermal transfer efficiency and reliability.
> Gas mains - Providing robust sealing for safe and efficient gas transmission.
> Boiler and fues - Withstanding high temperatures and pressures for secure sealing.
> Pumps - Maintaining fluid integrity and preventing leaks in pump systems.
> Valve bonnets - Offering a tight seal to maintain operational efficiency.
For simpler shapes, these gaskets are perfect for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. More complex shapes find their use in the flange covers of heat exchangers, etc. Typically, general gaskets measure 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of enduring a maximum working pressure of 6-10Mpa.
Jackets available in a wide range of materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, and monel, ensuring versatile application suitability.
Filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, and PTFE, each selected for its exceptional performance under demanding conditions.
The gasket thickness tolerance is impeccably controlled at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring precision and reliability.
(1). For gaskets NPS 1/2 through NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are strictly maintained at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), guaranteeing accuracy.
(2). Note: Class 400 flanges are unavailable for NPS 1/2 through NPS 3. Use Class 600 for these specifications.
(3). Note: Class 600 flanges are unavailable for NPS 1/2 through NPS 2-1/2. Use Class 1500 for these applications to ensure compatibility and performance.
(4). Note: Class 2500 is not applicable for NPS 14 and larger, ensuring that users are always aware of suitable alternatives.
