DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Expertly designed to perfection, our metal jacketed gaskets boast a sturdy thin metallic outer shell, ingeniously encasing a resilient filler material. This advanced configuration guarantees top-tier protection, delivering remarkable resistance to pressure, extreme temperatures, and corrosive elements. Each gasket is a masterpiece, handcrafted with precision, and available in a wide array of shapes and sizes, featuring an exclusive range of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs add to their versatility. These gaskets are essential for heat exchanger applications, though precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads are imperative for achieving an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets are meticulously designed with a singular surface fully enveloped by a metal jacket covering both the OD and ID, tailored for narrow flange widths in low pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets are skillfully crafted with a two-piece metal jacket that comprehensively encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Primarily utilized in heat exchanger applications, they excel in corrosive and high temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and internal-combustion machine sealing surfaces. Intricate shapes thrive in flange covers for heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, handling maximum pressures of up to 6-10Mpa, showcasing their versatility and reliability.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from premium materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
The filler options encompass expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, ensuring superior performance and adaptability.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to stringent standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, requiring the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
