DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are the epitome of engineering excellence. With a robust thin metallic outer shell enveloping a resilient filler material, these gaskets offer unparalleled protection. The innovative design ensures remarkable resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handcrafted, available in an extensive array of shapes and sizes, and features a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs add to their versatility, making these gaskets indispensable for heat exchanger applications. Please note that they require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal, guaranteeing superior performance.
Single jacketed gaskets are designed with exceptional precision, featuring one sealing surface completely encased by a robust metal jacket that covers both the OD and ID. Ideal for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, they provide an effective sealing solution.
Double jacketed gaskets exhibit an ingenious two-piece metal jacket design that entirely encloses the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. These are predominantly used in heat exchanger applications and are adept at managing corrosive and high-temperature environments, ensuring steadfast reliability.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, preserving the integrity of the primary seal in both configurations. This advanced design ensures that the seal remains uncompromised, delivering exceptional performance.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Meanwhile, gaskets with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar demanding applications. Typically, general gaskets span a width of 10-25 MM and a thickness of 2MM-8MM, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa. This versatility and reliability make them indispensable components in various settings.
Our gaskets employ jackets crafted from an exceptional selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, and monel, among others. This variety ensures top-tier performance and durability.
The filler options include superb materials such as expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient substances. These choices guarantee optimal performance and longevity.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards for performance and reliability.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm); this precision guarantees a perfect fit and enhanced sealing capability.
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead; this ensures compatibility and superior performance.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500; offering a robust solution for demanding applications.
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger. This limitation necessitates alternative class options for these larger sizes, guaranteeing fit and durability.
