Introducing our high-performance Flexible Spiral Wound Gasket with 304 Inner Ring and Filler. This advanced gasket features a robust outer and inner ring, meticulously crafted to elevate its sealing capabilities. The inner ring, specially inserted, ensures superior gasket performance by precisely centering the gasket on the flange face. It prevents the gasket from imploding into the pipe during installation, shields the sealing element from extreme conditions, fills any voids between flanges to avert erosion, and minimizes failure risks. Typically made of the same alloy as the winding, the inner ring adheres to the DIN 2699 standard (German) and is mandatory for gaskets with PTFE filler per ASME B16.20 standards, and recommended for use with graphite fillers. Designed for raised and flat-faced flanges, the external guide ring enhances radial strength, averting gasket blowout and functioning as a compression stop. Often fabricated from carbon steel (painted or zinc-plated to resist corrosion), the outer ring can also be produced from alloys for applications demanding higher temperatures and more rigorous conditions.
