Single jacketed gaskets boast a one-sided surface, completely enveloped by a metallic jacket covering both the outer and inner diameters. These gaskets are perfectly suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.

Double jacketed gaskets are masterfully engineered with a two-piece metal jacket that thoroughly encapsulates the outer diameter, inner diameter, and both sealing surfaces. These gaskets are predominantly favored for heat exchanger applications, demonstrating exceptional proficiency in managing corrosive and high-temperature environments.

Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be smoothly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains intact and uncompromised across both configurations.

Tolerance

Gasket thickness tolerance is precisely calibrated at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring the highest standards of precision.

(1). For gaskets sized NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the diameters' tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);

(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, note that Class 400 flanges are unavailable, thus requiring the use of Class 600;

(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500;

(4). Note that Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
