DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our intricately designed metal jacketed gaskets are masterfully engineered with a durable metallic outer shell that securely encases a resilient filler material. This cutting-edge design guarantees optimal protection for the filler, offering superior resistance against pressure, temperature fluctuations, and corrosion. Each gasket is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship, available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, with an elite selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs add further versatility, making these gaskets essential for heat exchanger applications. They are particularly effective when precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads are employed to ensure an ideal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets feature a single surface fully enveloped by a robust metal jacket that covers both the OD and ID. These are perfect for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, ensuring reliable performance.
Double jacketed gaskets are brilliantly crafted with a two-piece metal jacket that completely encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Primarily used in heat exchanger applications, they excel in managing corrosive and high-temperature environments, providing unmatched reliability.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly incorporated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both designs, enhancing the gasket's effectiveness.
APPLICATION
> Ideal for Heat exchangers
> Perfect for Gas mains
> Suitable for Boiler and fues
> Designed for Pumps.
> Essential for Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Conversely, those with complex shapes excel in flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span widths of 10-25 MM and thicknesses of 2MM-8MM, enduring maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, showcasing their versatility and reliability.
Jackets are crafted from a premium selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring superior performance.
Filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and an array of other resilient materials, each chosen for their exceptional properties.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely maintained at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring the highest standards of precision and quality.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm); ensuring exacting quality.
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of the more robust Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500, ensuring optimal performance;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, guiding users to alternative solutions.
