DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are engineered with a robust and durable thin metallic outer shell that artfully encases a resilient filler material, offering an unparalleled blend of strength and flexibility. This innovative and sophisticated design ensures the utmost protection for the filler, granting exceptional resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion, making it ideal for demanding environments. Each gasket is meticulously handcrafted to perfection, available in a diverse array of shapes and sizes, and made from a premium selection of metals and fillers tailored to meet your specific needs. The configurable internal ribs add an extra level of versatility and performance, making these gaskets indispensable for heat exchanger applications. However, they do require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal, ensuring reliability and long-lasting performance.
Single jacketed gaskets are expertly designed with one surface and are completely enveloped by a metal jacket covering both the OD and ID. They are ideal for narrow flange widths in low pressure valve and pump applications, providing a reliable sealing solution even in demanding conditions.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces, offering superior protection and performance. They are predominantly utilized in heat exchanger applications and are adept at handling corrosive and high temperature environments, providing unmatched reliability and durability.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded into the gasket design, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, thereby enhancing sealing efficiency and gasket longevity.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers - Perfect for ensuring optimal performance and sealing efficiency in challenging environments.
> Gas mains - Providing robust and reliable sealing solutions essential for the efficient operation of gas distribution systems.
> Boiler and fues - Designed to withstand the demanding conditions of both high temperature and pressure applications.
> Pumps - Ensuring reliable sealing for the efficient operation and maintenance of pumping systems.
> Valve bonnets - Ideal for securing leak-proof performance in various valve applications.
Gaskets with straightforward designs are perfect for standard pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines, ensuring dependable performance in various applications. Those with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications, providing enhanced sealing efficiency. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, and can withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them versatile and reliable for your sealing needs.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from a selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring durability and adaptability to various application needs.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and an array of other resilient materials, offering versatility and superior sealing performance tailored to your specific requirements.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring exacting standards and consistent quality in every gasket produced.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring precision and accuracy in every application;
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500, ensuring compatibility and maintaining high-pressure capacity;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, ensuring appropriate selection for high-demand applications.
