DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our expertly crafted metal jacketed gaskets feature a robust metallic outer shell encapsulating a resilient filler material. This design offers exceptional protection, resisting pressure, temperature fluctuations, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handmade, available in an array of shapes, sizes, metals, and fillers, providing versatility and custom solutions. Internal ribs can be tailored to any configuration. These gaskets excel in heat exchanger applications, necessitating precise flange surfaces and substantial bolt loads to achieve optimal sealing.
Single jacketed gaskets feature a single surface with both OD and ID protected by the metal jacket. Ideal for narrow flange widths found in low-pressure valve and pump applications, they ensure reliable performance.
Double jacketed gaskets are fully encased within a dual-component metal jacket that shields OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Perfect for demanding heat exchanger scenarios, they are engineered for corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs or pass partition bars can be integrated or welded, ensuring the primary seal remains secure, enhancing durability and safety.
APPLICATIONS
> Heat Exchangers
> Gas Transmission Systems
> Boilers and Fuels
> Pumps
> Valve Bonnets
For basic shapes, they are applied in pipeline flanges and internal-combustion machine sealing surfaces. Complex shapes are suited for heat exchanger flange covers. Typical gasket dimensions range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of handling work pressures up to 6-10Mpa.
Jackets: Available in Soft Iron, Low Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Nickel, Copper, Aluminium, Brass, Titanium, Monel, and more.
Filler Options: Expanded Graphite, Ceramic, PTFE, among others.
The gasket thickness precision is maintained at (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm).
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the diameter tolerances are +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm).
(2). Note: Class 400 flanges are unavailable for NPS 1/2 through NPS 3 (opt for Class 600).
(3). Note: Class 600 flanges are unavailable for NPS 1/2 through NPS 2-1/2 (opt for Class 1500).
(4). Note: Class 2500 is not available for NPS 14 and larger sizes.
