DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets elevate sealing solutions with their robust, thin metallic outer shell housing a resilient filler. This forward-thinking design provides unparalleled protection to the filler, ensuring outstanding resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket, handcrafted to perfection, is available in a myriad of shapes and sizes, featuring a premium assortment of metals and fillers. Customizable internal ribs enhance versatility further. Essential for heat exchanger applications, these gaskets demand precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to deliver an impeccable seal.
Single jacketed gaskets come with one surface fully enveloped by a metal jacket, covering both the OD and ID. They are particularly suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets boast an ingenious two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. These gaskets are predominantly employed in heat exchanger applications, adeptly managing corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains uncompromised, regardless of configuration.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs excel at sealing pipeline flanges and surfaces of internal combustion engines. Those with intricate designs shine in flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, these versatile and reliable gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa.
Jackets are expertly crafted from a selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, to ensure superior performance and longevity.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, offering versatility and reliability for various applications.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely maintained at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), upholding exacting standards for consistency and reliability.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring precise fit and functionality.
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead to meet higher pressure demands.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500 to accommodate more rigorous conditions.
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, highlighting the need for alternative solutions in high-pressure applications.
