DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our intricately designed metal jacketed gaskets are crafted with a durable thin metallic outer shell that encompasses a robust filler material. This cutting-edge configuration provides unparalleled protection for the filler, ensuring outstanding resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handmade, available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, with an elite selection of metals and fillers. Customizable internal ribs enhance flexibility. These gaskets are essential for heat exchanger applications, although they require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads for an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets feature a single surface and are fully covered by a metal jacket that envelops both the OD and ID. They are perfect for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets boast a two-piece metal jacket ingeniously designed to entirely encapsulate the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Primarily utilized in heat exchanger applications, they excel in corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be flawlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in every configuration.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with simple designs excel in pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with complex shapes are ideal for flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, enduring maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them both versatile and dependable.
Jackets are crafted from an array of premium materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
The filler options comprise expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely defined at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), adhering to exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are not available, requiring the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
