DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are masterfully engineered with a robust thin metallic outer shell that encases a resilient filler material. This innovative design ensures the utmost protection for the filler, offering extraordinary resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handmade, available in a diverse array of shapes and sizes, with a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs provide additional versatility. While these gaskets require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads for an optimal seal, they play an indispensable role in heat exchanger applications.
Single jacketed gaskets, featuring one distinct surface, are completely enveloped by a metal jacket covering both the OD and ID. They are ideally suited for narrow flange widths in low pressure valve and pump applications, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
Double jacketed gaskets boast an ingenious design with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly utilized in heat exchanger applications and are adept at handling corrosive environments and high temperature conditions, providing unparalleled performance.
Internal ribs or pass partition bars can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, thus enhancing the gasket's functionality and reliability.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are perfectly suited for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, and can withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, offering both versatility and reliability.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from a selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring durability and resilience.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, providing exceptional adaptability to various applications.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring exacting standards and superior performance.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
