Configurable internal ribs offer additional versatility, making these gaskets indispensable for heat exchanger applications. They do require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets feature one surface and are fully enveloped by a metal jacket covering both the OD and ID. They are ideal for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, offering efficient performance.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Primarily utilized in heat exchanger applications, they are adept at managing corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, enhancing sealing integrity.

Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Generally, gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, offering versatility and reliability.
Jackets are crafted using top-grade materials like soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, among others, ensuring robust and reliable performance.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, providing adaptive solutions for various industrial challenges.
The gasket thickness tolerance is meticulously set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring standards of excellence.
(1). For gaskets from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, outside and inside diameter tolerances are precisely controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable; instead, utilize Class 600 for optimal compatibility;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are not provided, requiring the use of Class 1500 for superior performance;
(4). Class 2500 flanges are unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, paving the way for alternative solutions.
