DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Delicately engineered with precision, our metal jacketed gaskets feature a robust, thin metallic outer shell that gracefully encases a high-performance filler material. This cutting-edge design ensures supreme protection for the filler, delivering outstanding resistance to extreme pressure, high temperatures, and corrosive environments. Each gasket is a masterpiece, meticulously handcrafted and available in an extensive range of shapes and sizes. Choose from our premium selection of metals and fillers to suit your specific needs. The addition of configurable internal ribs enhances versatility, making these gaskets essential for heat exchanger applications. Achieving an optimal seal requires precision flange surfaces and considerable bolt loads.
Single jacketed gaskets showcase a single sealing surface and are completely encased by a metal jacket that covers both the outer diameter (OD) and inner diameter (ID). They are perfectly suited for applications with narrow flange widths, particularly in low pressure valves and pumps.
Ingeniously designed, double jacketed gaskets feature a dual-piece metal jacket that fully encompasses the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly used in heat exchanger applications, expertly handling corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, internal ribs or pass partition bars ensure that the primary seal remains uncompromised in all configurations, providing unparalleled sealing integrity.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boilers and fuses
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
For straightforward applications, gaskets are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion engines. Intricate designs excel in the demanding environments of heat exchanger flange covers and similar applications. General gaskets typically range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, showcasing their versatility and reliability.
Our jackets are crafted from an exquisite selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring both durability and performance.
The filler options available include resilient materials such as expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and others, providing robustness and reliability in challenging conditions.
Our gasket thickness tolerance is impeccably set at (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to the most exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously regulated at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, hence the use of Class 600 is recommended;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are non-existent, necessitating the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is not available for NPS sizes 14 and larger, requiring alternative class selections.
