DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets boast an innovative dual-layer design—featuring a sturdy thin metallic outer shell that safeguards a tenacious filler. This advanced configuration offers unparalleled protection, ensuring remarkable resistance to pressure, temperature fluctuations, and corrosive environments. Handcrafted with meticulous precision, each gasket is available in a vast array of shapes and sizes, utilizing a premium selection of metals and filler materials. The addition of configurable internal ribs enhances versatility, making these gaskets essential for heat exchanger applications. They require precision-engineered flange surfaces and high bolt loads to guarantee an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets, ingeniously constructed with a single surface, are fully encased in a metal jacket that encompasses both the outer and inner diameters. These gaskets are ideal for applications involving narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump systems.
Double jacketed gaskets are masterfully crafted with a two-piece metal jacket that completely encloses the outer diameter, inner diameter, and both sealing surfaces. These gaskets are primarily employed in heat exchanger applications, adeptly managing corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded to ensure the primary seal remains uncompromised, regardless of configuration.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boilers and fuses
> Pumps
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are perfectly suited for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal combustion engines, while those with intricate shapes excel in flange covers for heat exchangers and similar uses. Typically, general gaskets span widths of 10-25 MM and thicknesses of 2MM-8MM, withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them incredibly versatile and reliable.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from a selection of high-quality materials such as soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, ensuring comprehensive protection and adaptability.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), maintaining exacting standards and precision.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are not offered, requiring the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
