DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Crafted with precision, our metal jacketed gaskets boast a resilient thin metallic outer shell that ingeniously encases a robust filler material. This innovative design offers unparalleled protection for the filler, ensuring exceptional resistance to pressure, high temperatures, and corrosive environments. Each gasket is meticulously handmade, available in an extensive array of shapes and sizes, and crafted from a premium selection of metals and fillers. Ingeniously configurable internal ribs add versatility, making these gaskets absolutely indispensable for heat exchanger applications. However, they do require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal, flawless seal.
Single jacketed gaskets, featuring one surface and a complete metal jacket that envelops both the OD and ID, are perfect for applications with narrow flange widths, especially in low-pressure valve and pump scenarios.
Double jacketed gaskets are a marvel of engineering, featuring a two-piece metal jacket that fully envelops the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly utilized in heat exchanger applications, demonstrating exceptional prowess in handling highly corrosive and high temperature environments with ease.
Internal ribs, known as pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised, delivering optimal performance in both configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers - Ensuring efficient thermal transfer and durability in challenging environments.
> Gas mains - Providing reliable sealing solutions for high-pressure systems.
> Boiler and fues - Enhancing safety and performance in high-temperature applications.
> Pumps - Maintaining integrity and efficiency in fluid handling operations.
> Valve bonnets - Offering superior sealing in fluctuating conditions.
Gaskets with straightforward designs are perfect for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, and can withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, embodying versatility and reliability across various industrial settings.
Our jackets are crafted from an exquisite selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring versatility and durability.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other robust materials, each chosen for their resilience and exceptional performance.
The gasket thickness tolerance is meticulously set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring our products meet the most exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are stringently controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, the unavailability of Class 400 flanges requires the use of Class 600, ensuring optimal compatibility;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, the absence of Class 600 flanges necessitates the use of Class 1500, guaranteeing enhanced performance;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, necessitating alternative solutions to meet specific pressure requirements.
