DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET: Meticulously crafted for comprehensive protection.
Metal jacketed gaskets embody a robust design with a thin metallic outer shell encapsulating a resilient filler material. This advanced structure ensures superb protection against pressure, temperature fluctuations, and corrosive environments. Handcrafted to precision, these versatile gaskets are available in a variety of shapes and sizes, offering a wide selection of metals and fillers to meet your specific needs. Internal ribs can be customized in any configuration, making these gaskets ideal for heat exchanger applications, provided the flange surfaces are even and the bolt loads are high enough to maintain a reliable seal.
Single-jacketed gaskets offer a streamlined design where one surface and both outer and inner diameters are enveloped by a metal jacket. These are optimal for low pressure applications involving narrow flange widths, such as valves and pumps.
Double-jacketed gaskets ensure total encapsulation with a two-piece metal jacket covering the outer and inner diameters and both sealing surfaces. They are extensively used in heat exchanger applications and are perfectly suited for environments that are corrosive and demand high-temperature resilience.
Internal ribs, also known as pass partition bars, can either be integrally formed or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains intact and secure under various conditions.
APPLICATION: Versatile and robust, our gaskets cater to a multitude of industrial needs.
> Heat exchangers: Engineered for efficiency and durability.
> Gas mains: Reliable sealing for critical infrastructure.
> Boiler and fues: High-performance sealing solutions.
> Pumps: Robust sealing for enhanced operational stability.
> Valve bonnets: Ensuring integrity and reliability.
Gaskets with simpler designs are perfectly suited for pipeline flanges and the sealing surfaces of internal combustion engines. Meanwhile, those with more intricate designs are ideal for the flange covers of heat exchangers. Typically ranging from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, these gaskets can withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa.
Jackets: An array of high-quality options including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, etc.
Filler: Superior fillers such as expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, etc., to meet the demands of various applications.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely controlled at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) or (+0.8mm, -0.0mm) for optimal performance.
(1). For gaskets sized NPS 1/2 through NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously maintained at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS 1/2 through NPS 3, there are no Class 400 flanges available; instead, Class 600 should be used;
(3). For NPS 1/2 through NPS 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are unavailable; opt for Class 1500;
(4). There are no Class 2500 flanges available for NPS 14 and larger sizes.
