DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Introducing our meticulously engineered metal jacketed gaskets, each a masterpiece of durability and innovation. Encased in a robust thin metallic outer shell, these gaskets protect a resilient filler material, ensuring superior resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Every gasket is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail and is available in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Choose from a premium selection of metals and fillers, with configurable internal ribs for enhanced versatility. These gaskets are the perfect choice for heat exchanger applications, though they require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to secure an impeccable seal.
Single jacketed gaskets boast a singular surface entirely enveloped by a metal jacket covering both the OD and ID. Ideal for narrow flange widths, they excel in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets are expertly crafted with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces, making them perfect for demanding heat exchanger applications. They thrive in corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, also known as pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains secure in both configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers - A vital component for thermal regulation.
> Gas mains - Ensures safe energy transmission.
> Boiler and fues - Reliability in thermal applications.
> Pumps - Essential for hydraulic efficiency.
> Valve bonnets - Precision sealing for optimal function.
Gaskets with simple designs are perfect for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. In contrast, those with complex shapes are unrivaled in flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, accommodating maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring versatility and reliability.
Our jackets are expertly crafted from an array of high-quality materials such as soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials for unmatched performance.
Our gasket thickness tolerance is precisely defined at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), upholding the highest standards of precision.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are not available, thus requiring the use of Class 600.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 1500.
(4). Note: Class 2500 is not available for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
