Crafted typically from the same high-quality alloy as the winding, the inner ring complies with the German DIN 2699 standard and is crucial for gaskets with PTFE filler as per ASME B16.20 standards, while being highly recommended for those with graphite fillers. Ideal for both raised and flat-faced flanges, the gasket's external guide ring not only provides additional radial strength to guard against blowout but also doubles as a compression stop.
