DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our meticulously engineered metal jacketed gaskets boast an exquisitely robust thin metallic outer shell, expertly encasing a resilient filler material. This cutting-edge design excels in preserving the filler’s integrity, ensuring remarkable resilience against pressure, temperature, and corrosion challenges. Each gasket is a testament to craftsmanship, hand-tailored in a broad spectrum of sizes and shapes, utilizing an elite selection of metals and fillers. The configurable internal ribs enhance flexibility and adaptability, making these gaskets indispensable for heat exchanger applications. However, precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads are necessary for achieving an immaculate seal.
Single jacketed gaskets feature a singular surface, entirely enveloped by a metal jacket covering both the OD and ID. They are the perfect choice for narrow flange widths in applications involving low pressure valves and pumps.
Double jacketed gaskets are masterfully designed with a sophisticated two-piece metal jacket, fully encapsulating the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly utilized in demanding heat exchanger applications, adeptly managing corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, also known as pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded. This ensures the primary seal remains uncompromised, delivering excellence in both configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal combustion engines. Intricate shapes shine in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Generally, gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring versatility and reliability.
Jackets are constructed from a premium selection of materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
The array of filler options includes expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, catering to diverse needs.
The gasket thickness tolerance is impeccably set at (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), maintaining exacting precision.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are rigorously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are not available, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
