DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Metal jacketed gaskets offer a robust and innovative sealing solution with their design comprising a thin metallic outer shell that expertly encloses a resilient filler material. This sophisticated construction ensures that the metal case not only provides superior protection to the filler but also boasts resistance to pressure, high temperatures, and corrosion. Precision-crafted by hand, these gaskets are available in a myriad of shapes and sizes and can be customized with a variety of metals and fillers to suit specific needs. The option of internal ribs in any required configuration further enhances their versatility. Primarily utilized in heat exchanger applications, these gaskets necessitate impeccably smooth flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an effective seal, thereby guaranteeing optimal performance.
Single jacketed gaskets feature an innovative design where one surface, along with both OD and ID, is enveloped by the metal jacket. Ideal for applications involving narrow flange widths, they are particularly suitable for low-pressure valve and pump scenarios.
Double jacketed gaskets are expertly constructed to be fully enclosed by a two-piece metal jacket, effectively covering OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Renowned for their reliability, they are extensively used in heat exchanger applications and are ideally suited for both corrosive environments and high-temperature service conditions.
Internal ribs or pass partition bars can be either integral or welded, ensuring that, irrespective of the type, the primary seal is consistently and securely maintained for optimal performance.

> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and flues
> Pumps
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with simple shapes are ideally suited for pipeline flange applications and the sealing surfaces of internal-combustion engines. In contrast, those with more complex shapes are perfectly adapted for use in the flange covers of heat exchangers, among other demanding applications. Generally, these gaskets are available in widths ranging from 10 to 25 MM and thicknesses of 2MM to 8MM, capable of withstanding a maximum working pressure of 6-10Mpa, showcasing their adaptability and reliability.
Jackets: Offered in an extensive range of materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, and monel, ensuring tailored solutions for diverse industrial needs.
Filler: Engineered with cutting-edge materials such as expanded graphite, ceramic, and PTFE, providing exceptional sealing performance and durability.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely maintained within (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) ((+0.8mm, -0.0mm)), ensuring consistent quality and performance.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 through NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). Note that there are no Class 400 flanges available for NPS 1/2 through NPS 3. For these sizes, Class 600 is recommended;
(3). For sizes NPS 1/2 through NPS 2-1/2, there are no Class 600 flanges. Instead, Class 1500 is the preferred choice;
(4). It is important to note that there are no Class 2500 flanges available for NPS 14 and larger, underscoring the importance of choosing appropriate classifications for specific applications.
