DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Crafted with precision, our metal jacketed gaskets feature a robust metallic outer shell that elegantly houses a resilient filler material. This impeccable design ensures that the gasket's metal case acts as a formidable shield, offering resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Known for their versatility, these hand-crafted gaskets are available in a plethora of shapes and sizes, each accommodating a variety of metals and fillers. Additionally, internal ribs can be custom-configured to meet specific needs. While they are predominantly utilized in heat exchanger applications, they deliver optimal performance when paired with even flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve a secure seal.
Single jacketed gaskets present a refined design where one surface and both outer and inner diameters are enveloped by a sleek metal jacket. Ideal for applications involving narrow flange widths, these gaskets deliver superior performance in low-pressure valve and pump settings.
The epitome of durability, double jacketed gaskets are fully encapsulated within a two-piece metal jacket, covering the outer diameter, inner diameter, and both sealing surfaces. They stand out in heat exchanger applications and are adept at withstanding corrosive environments and high temperature conditions.
Internal ribs, also known as pass partition bars, can be either integral or welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains secure in all configurations.
APPLICATION
> Expertly engineered for heat exchangers
> Reliable for gas mains
> Essential for boiler and fues applications
> Optimal for pumps.
> Integral for valve bonnets
For applications requiring simplistic shapes, our gaskets provide an excellent fit for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal combustion engines. Complex shapes are perfectly suited for flange covers in heat exchangers, etc. Typically, these general gaskets measure 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, accommodating a maximum working pressure of 6-10Mpa.
Jackets available in a diverse array of materials: Soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
Filler choices include: Expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, etc.
The precision in our gasket thickness is remarkable, with a tolerance of (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) or (+0.8mm, -0.0mm) ensuring exact fit.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously maintained at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). Note: Class 400 flanges are not available for NPS 1/2 through NPS 3 (opt for Class 600);
(3). Class 600 flanges are not present for NPS 1/2 through NPS 2-1/2 (opt for Class 1500);
(4). Be advised, Class 2500 is not available for NPS 14 and larger
