DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets boast a superbly engineered design, featuring a robust, thin metallic exterior that protectively encases a resilient filler material. This innovative construction delivers unmatched protection for the filler while offering extraordinary resistance to pressure, temperature extremes, and corrosive elements. Every gasket is meticulously handmade and available in a comprehensive array of shapes and sizes, utilizing a premium selection of metals and fillers to suit diverse needs. Configurable internal ribs add further versatility, making these gaskets indispensable for heat exchanger applications, though precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads are necessary to achieve the optimal seal.
Our single jacketed gaskets are designed with one surface fully enveloped by a metal jacket that covers both the outer and inner diameters. They are perfectly suited for applications involving narrow flange widths in low pressure valves and pumps.
Double jacketed gaskets are marvelously engineered with a two-piece metal jacket that thoroughly encapsulates the outer and inner diameters, as well as both sealing surfaces. These gaskets are predominantly employed in heat exchanger applications, demonstrating exceptional capability in handling corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, are seamlessly integrated or expertly welded to ensure the integrity of the primary seal remains flawless in both configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs excel in sealing pipeline flanges and surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes are perfect for flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets measure 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, and they withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, delivering versatility and reliability for diverse applications.
The jackets are crafted from a broad selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, catering to a variety of application needs.
Filler options encompass expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other robust materials, providing resilience and adaptability.
Our gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, thus requiring the utilization of Class 600;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
