SPIRAL WOUND GASKET
DESCRIPTION:
Product Type:XINSEN-SD
Features:
Introducing our exceptional spiral wound gasket, designed with a robust solid outer and inner ring for ultimate performance. An innovative inner ring is strategically inserted to significantly enhance the gasket's operational efficiency. This meticulously added inner ring ensures no implosion into pipes during installation, offers superior protection against extreme temperatures and aggressive mediums, and adeptly fills flange voids to prevent erosion, thus minimizing the risk of failure. Crafted from the same high-quality alloy as the winding, this inner ring aligns with the stringent DIN 2699 standards and is indispensable for spiral wound gaskets featuring PTFE fillers, as per ASME B16.20. Additionally, it is highly recommended for graphite fillers. Perfectly suited for both raised and flat-faced flanges, the external guide ring confers extra radial strength, acts as an effective compression limiter, and guards against blowout. The outer ring, typically fashioned from corrosion-resistant carbon steel, may also be composed of advanced alloys for demanding high-temperature environments and challenging applications.
