DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are masterfully engineered with a robust and sturdy thin metallic outer shell that encompasses a resilient filler. This cutting-edge design provides the utmost protection for the filler, offering unparalleled resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handcrafted and available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, accompanied by a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs add an extra layer of versatility. These gaskets are indispensable for heat exchanger applications, requiring precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to ensure an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets boast a single sealing surface and are completely enveloped by a metal jacket that covers both the outer diameter (OD) and inner diameter (ID). They are ideally suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously crafted with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the outer diameter (OD), inner diameter (ID), and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly used in heat exchanger applications and excel in handling corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, providing outstanding durability and reliability.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are perfect for general pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes shine in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Generally, these versatile gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them indispensable and reliable.
Jackets are crafted from a selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring strength and longevity.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, each offering distinct advantages for various applications.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards and precision.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring a perfect fit.
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of the more suitable Class 600 instead, adapting to industry needs.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500, ensuring robustness and reliability.
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, and alternatives must be considered to meet the specific requirements.
