Introducing our state-of-the-art spiral wound gasket featuring robust outer and inner rings for unparalleled performance. The addition of an inner ring elevates the gasket's functionality by preventing implosion into the pipeline during installation and safeguarding the sealing element against extreme temperatures and harsh mediums. This design efficiently fills voids between flanges to avert erosion and significantly minimizes the risk of failure. Typically crafted from the same alloy as the winding, the inner ring adheres to the German DIN 2699 standard, ensuring reliability and excellence. Compliant with ASME B16.20 standards, inner rings are indispensable for PTFE-filled gaskets and highly recommended for graphite fillers. Ideally suited for raised and flat-faced flanges, the external guide ring enhances radial strength, serving as a check against gasket blowout and doubling as a compression limiter. Often constructed from carbon steel with corrosion-resistant finishes, the outer ring can also be made from specialized alloys for high-temperature and demanding applications.
