DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are engineered with a robust thin metallic outer shell that encases a resilient filler material. This innovative design safeguards the filler with exceptional resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Every gasket is meticulously handmade and presented in an extensive array of shapes and sizes. With a premium selection of metals and fillers, configurable internal ribs enhance versatility. These gaskets are indispensable for heat exchanger applications, though they require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to obtain the optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets boast an elegant design with one surface completely enveloped by a metal jacket, covering both OD and ID. Their design is ideal for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They excel in heat exchanger applications, adeptly handling corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in all configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Generally, these gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them versatile and reliable.
Jackets are crafted from a selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and additional fine materials.
Filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient, high-performance materials.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating Class 600 usage instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, requiring the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
