Crafted typically from the same alloy as the winding, the inner ring adheres to the rigorous DIN 2699 standard (German), mandating its presence in all spiral wound gaskets. Compliance with ASME B16.20 standards is ensured for PTFE fillers, with the inner ring also deemed crucial for graphite fillers. This advanced gasket profile is ideal for both raised and flat-faced flanges.
