DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets showcase an advanced design, featuring a robust thin metallic outer shell that encases a resilient filler material. This innovative structure ensures unrivaled protection for the filler, providing outstanding resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handmade and available in an extensive range of shapes and sizes, with a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs further enhance the versatility of these gaskets. Perfect for heat exchanger applications, these gaskets demand precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets, featuring one sealing surface, are completely enveloped by a metal jacket covering both the outer diameter (OD) and inner diameter (ID). They are the ideal choice for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, providing a reliable seal where space is limited.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously engineered with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Predominantly utilized in heat exchanger applications, these gaskets excel in handling corrosive and high-temperature environments, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can either be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, adapting to various needs without sacrificing integrity.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers: Essential for efficient heat transfer and thermal regulation.
> Gas mains: Perfect for ensuring leak-proof gas transportation.
> Boiler and fues: Reliable in high-temperature, high-pressure environments.
> Pumps: Ensures dependable sealing in dynamic operational conditions.
> Valve bonnets: Guarantees secure closure and operation of valve systems.
Gaskets with straightforward designs effortlessly accommodate pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes are adept at handling the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, showcasing their versatility and reliability.
Jackets are crafted from a premium selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring durability and performance.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, each chosen for its exceptional properties, providing the perfect match for every application scenario.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), maintaining exacting standards and ensuring reliable performance.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring a perfect fit every time.
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead, offering robust alternatives.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500, providing enhanced strength and reliability.
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, prompting users to consider alternative solutions.
