DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our meticulously engineered metal jacketed gaskets, with their robust thin metallic outer shell enveloping a resilient filler, offer an unparalleled level of protection and performance. This innovative combination provides superior resistance against pressure, temperature, and corrosion, ensuring the durability and reliability of your systems. Each gasket is handcrafted to perfection, available in a wide range of shapes and sizes, and crafted from premium metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs enhance versatility, making these gaskets a critical component for heat exchanger applications. To achieve an optimal seal, precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads are essential.
Single jacketed gaskets, offering a single sealing surface, are completely encased by a metal jacket covering both the outer and inner diameters. These gaskets are ideally suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, providing efficient sealing solutions.
Double jacketed gaskets, with their sophisticated two-piece metal jacket fully encapsulating the outer diameter, inner diameter, and both sealing surfaces, are the product of intelligent design. They excel in heat exchanger applications, adeptly managing corrosive and high-temperature environments with ease.
Seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, internal ribs or pass partition bars ensure the integrity of the primary seal in all configurations, maintaining exceptional sealing performance.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with simple designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and internal-combustion machine sealing surfaces. More intricately shaped gaskets excel in flange covers for heat exchangers and similar demanding applications. Typically, these general gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring versatility and reliability.
Our jackets are crafted from a selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability.
Choose from a variety of filler options, such as expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, to meet your specific application needs.
Gasket thickness tolerance is precisely controlled at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards for reliability.
(1). For gaskets spanning from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are rigorously managed at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm).
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the transition to Class 600 for optimal performance.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, the absence of Class 600 flanges requires the utilization of Class 1500.
(4). Class 2500 is not accessible for NPS sizes 14 and larger, redirecting to alternative class standards.
