DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our metal jacketed gaskets are exquisitely crafted, comprising a delicate metallic outer shell meticulously designed to envelop a robust filler material. This fine metal casing not only shields the resilient filler but also excels in resisting extreme pressures, soaring temperatures, and corrosive environments. Handcrafted to perfection, these gaskets are available in an array of shapes and sizes, offering a versatile selection of metals and fillers. With customizable internal rib configurations, they are highly sought after for heat exchanger applications, necessitating flawless flange surfaces and substantial bolt loads to secure a leak-proof seal.
Single jacketed gaskets are skillfully designed with one surface and both the outer and inner diameters elegantly covered by a metallic jacket. This design is particularly suited for applications with narrow flange widths in low-pressure valves and pumps.
Double jacketed gaskets boast a comprehensive enclosure within a two-piece metal jacket, covering the outer diameter, inner diameter, and both sealing surfaces. They are highly favored in heat exchanger applications and adept at handling corrosive and high-temperature services.
Internal ribs, also known as pass partition bars, can be integrally formed or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal is consistently maintained in both types.
APPLICATION
> Ideal for Heat exchangers
> Suitable for Gas mains
> Applicable in Boilers and fuses
> Efficient in Pumps.
> Essential for Valve bonnets
These gaskets, when designed with simple shapes, are ideal for pipeline flanges and the sealing surfaces of internal combustion machines. For more complex shapes, they are effectively used in the flange covers of heat exchangers, among other applications. Typically, these gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, making them suitable for maximum working pressures between 6-10Mpa.
Jackets are available in superior materials such as Soft Iron, Low Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Nickel, Copper, Aluminium, Brass, Titanium, Monel, and more.
Filler options include high-quality Expanded Graphite, Ceramic, PTFE, etc.
The gasket thickness is precisely controlled with a tolerance of (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm)
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). Please note, there are no Class 400 flanges for NPS 1/2 through NPS 3 (Use Class 600 instead);
(3). Be aware, there are no Class 600 flanges for NPS 1/2 through NPS 2-1/2 (Use Class 1500 instead);
(4). It's important to note that there are no Class 2500 NPS 14 and larger flanges.
