DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET

Metal jacketed gaskets are meticulously crafted with an advanced design featuring a robust metallic outer shell that encapsulates a resilient filler material. These tailor-made gaskets can be customized into various shapes and sizes, utilizing a diverse range of metals and fillers to fit specific requirements. Additionally, internal ribs can be configured in multiple ways to enhance functionality. Ideal for heat exchanger applications, these gaskets demand evenly surfaced flanges and high bolt loads to ensure a perfect seal.

Single jacketed gaskets, engineered for precision, have their outer diameter, inner diameter, and one surface shielded by a metal jacket. They are particularly suitable for applications involving narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump systems.

Double jacketed gaskets are innovatively designed with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encloses the outer diameter, inner diameter, and both sealing surfaces. Their versatility makes them perfect for heat exchanger applications and they perform exceptionally well in corrosive and high-temperature environments.

Internal ribs, also known as pass partition bars, can be either integral or welded. In both configurations, they ensure that the primary seal remains reliably secure.

Standard dimensions range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa.

Tolerance

Our gasket thickness tolerance is meticulously controlled at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) and (+0.8mm, -0.0mm) to ensure precise fitting and reliability.

(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are maintained at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);

(2). There are no Class 400 flanges for NPS sizes between 1/2 and 3 (Class 600 should be used);

(3). Class 600 flanges are unavailable for NPS sizes from 1/2 to 2-1/2 (opt for Class 1500 instead);

(4). NPS 14 and larger sizes do not include Class 2500 options.
