DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our meticulously engineered metal jacketed gaskets boast a strong, thin metallic outer shell that expertly protects the resilient filler material within. This pioneering design offers unparalleled resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Crafted with precision, each gasket comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, featuring premium metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs enhance versatility. Ideal for heat exchangers, these gaskets demand precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads for optimal sealing performance.
Single jacketed gaskets are designed with one surface completely enveloped by a metal jacket covering both outer and inner diameters. Perfect for narrow flange widths, they excel in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets, with their ingenious two-piece metal jacket, fully encase the outer and inner diameters and both sealing surfaces. Predominantly used for heat exchangers, they excel in corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs or pass partition bars can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal's integrity in all configurations without compromise.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boilers and fuses
> Pumps
> Valve bonnets
Simple gaskets are ideal for pipeline flanges and internal-combustion engine sealing surfaces. Intricately shaped gaskets perform exceptionally in heat exchanger flange covers and related applications. Commonly, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, handling pressures up to 6-10Mpa, showcasing their versatility and reliability.
Jackets are crafted from a high-quality selection including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
Filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, ensuring versatility and durability.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), adhering to exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm).
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500.
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
