DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET: Precision and Performance
Metal jacketed gaskets are expertly crafted, featuring a sleek metallic outer shell that envelopes a durable filler material. This sophisticated design attributes to the gasket's impressive resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, these gaskets come in a variety of shapes and sizes, offering a wide selection of metals and fillers. Internal ribs can be custom-designed to any configuration, ensuring a perfect fit. Ideal for heat exchanger applications, these gaskets are engineered to provide an impeccable seal when paired with smooth flange surfaces and high bolt loads.
Single jacketed gaskets provide a robust solution with one side and both outer and inner diameters securely protected by the metal jacket. Perfectly suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve or pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets offer complete encapsulation with a dual-layered metal jacket covering the outer and inner diameters, as well as both sealing surfaces. These are a preferred choice for heat exchanger applications, capable of handling corrosive environments and high temperatures with ease.
Internal ribs, also known as pass partition bars, can be integrally formed or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised and reliable.
APPLICATIONS - Diverse and Dynamic
> Heat exchangers: Superior thermal management and reliability.
> Gas mains: Ensuring safety and longevity in pipeline operations.
> Boilers and fuels: Withstanding high-pressure environments seamlessly.
> Pumps: Guaranteed performance and durability.
> Valve bonnets: Robust and dependable sealing solutions.
Gaskets with straightforward geometries are perfect for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces in internal combustion engines, while more intricate designs are ideal for flange covers in heat exchangers, among other uses. Typically ranging from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, these gaskets can withstand maximum work pressures of 6-10Mpa.
Jackets: Crafted from premium materials like soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
Filler: High-performance materials such as expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, etc., tailored to meet specific application needs.
The gasket thickness is precisely controlled with a tolerance of (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), assuring a perfect fit every time.
(1). For gaskets NPS 1/2 through NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously maintained at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). No Class 400 flanges exist for NPS 1/2 through NPS 3, hence Class 600 is recommended;
(3). For NPS 1/2 through NPS 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are unavailable. Opt for Class 1500 instead;
(4). Class 2500 flanges are not applicable to NPS 14 and larger sizes.
