DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our expertly designed metal jacketed gaskets boast a robust metallic outer shell that masterfully encases a durable filler material. This groundbreaking construction offers supreme protection for the filler, ensuring remarkable resistance against pressure, temperature extremes, and corrosive environments. Each gasket is skillfully crafted by hand and is available in a comprehensive range of shapes and sizes, with a top-tier selection of metals and fillers. Customizable internal ribs add further adaptability. These gaskets are vital for heat exchanger applications, though they necessitate perfectly aligned flange surfaces and high bolt loads for achieving a superior seal.
Single jacketed gaskets, featuring one surface encased by a metal jacket enveloping both the OD and ID, are ideal for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets are astutely crafted with a two-piece metal jacket that thoroughly covers the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominately utilized in heat exchanger applications, excelling in managing corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be expertly integrated or seamlessly welded, guaranteeing that the primary seal remains intact in all configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with simple designs are ideally suited for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes are perfect for flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Generally, standard gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them exceptionally versatile and dependable.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from a superior selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
Filler options encompass expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely calibrated at (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), adhering to exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are strictly controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are not available, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, requiring the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is not available for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
