DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are engineered with a robust, sleek thin metallic outer shell that securely encases a resilient filler material. This innovative design ensures the utmost protection for the filler, offering unparalleled resistance to pressure, extreme temperatures, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handcrafted, available in a vast array of shapes and sizes, featuring a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs provide additional versatility, catering to diverse applications. These gaskets are indispensable for heat exchanger applications, although they require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal, ensuring reliability and longevity.
Single jacketed gaskets feature a single surface, completely enveloped by an elegant metal jacket covering both the OD and ID. They are ideal for narrow flange widths in low pressure valve and pump applications, providing a reliable and cost-effective solution for these settings.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a sophisticated two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Predominantly utilized in heat exchanger applications, they excel in handling corrosive and high-temperature environments with remarkable efficiency.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, enhancing the gasket's adaptability and performance.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and flues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are perfect for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, and can withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, offering versatile and reliable sealing solutions for a wide range of applications.
Jackets are crafted from a premium selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring durability and performance across various applications.
The filler options include advanced materials such as expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient substances, designed to meet the demanding needs of diverse industries.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring exacting standards for performance and reliability.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring precision and consistency;
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, thereby requiring the use of Class 600 instead for enhanced compatibility;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500, providing a robust solution;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, requiring alternative specifications.
