DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are a testament to precision engineering, featuring a robust thin metallic outer shell that lovingly encases a resilient filler material. This cutting-edge design provides unparalleled protection, ensuring exceptional resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handmade, available in an extensive array of shapes and sizes, showcasing a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs add a layer of versatility. These gaskets are indispensable for heat exchanger applications, requiring precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads for an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets, designed with finesse, feature one surface and are entirely enveloped by a metal jacket covering both the OD and ID. These gaskets shine in narrow flange widths of low pressure valve and pump applications, providing reliability and efficiency.
Double jacketed gaskets boast an ingenious design with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Predominantly used in heat exchanger applications, they excel at managing corrosive and high-temperature environments, proving their prowess in challenging conditions.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, are seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains steadfast in both configurations, enhancing performance without compromise.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, these versatile gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, enduring maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them a reliable choice.
Jackets are crafted from a selection of high-caliber materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more. This variety ensures quality and adaptability for diverse applications.
Filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, providing a versatile choice for specific needs.
The gasket thickness tolerance is meticulously set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), upholding exacting standards for precision.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), maintaining precision and excellence;
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead, adapting to specific requirements;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, requiring the use of Class 1500, demonstrating flexibility;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, acknowledging design limitations with foresight.
