DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Introducing our masterfully crafted metal jacketed gaskets, designed with a sturdy, thin metallic outer shell that securely envelops a durable filler material. This cutting-edge design offers superior protection for the filler, delivering outstanding resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is expertly handmade, available in a vast selection of shapes and sizes, and features a premium choice of metals and fillers. Optional internal ribs add an extra layer of versatility. These gaskets are essential for heat exchanger applications, requiring precise flange surfaces and high bolt loads for an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets possess one surface completely covered by a metal jacket that shields both the OD and ID. They are perfect for applications with narrow flange widths in low pressure valve and pump scenarios.
Double jacketed gaskets boast an ingenious design featuring a two-piece metal jacket that thoroughly encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are primarily employed in heat exchanger applications and are proficient in managing corrosive and high temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly incorporated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with more intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets measure 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, and can withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring versatility and reliability.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from a selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
