Additionally, it fills the void between flanges, preventing flange erosion and reducing the risk of failure. Crafted to DIN 2699 standards, this gasket's inner ring is typically composed of the same alloy as the winding, a vital inclusion for PTFE fillers as per ASME B16.20 standards and recommended for graphite fillers.
