DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets offer an unparalleled synthesis of engineering prowess and craftsmanship. Each gasket is designed with a robust, thin metallic outer shell that meticulously encases a resilient filler material. This innovative construction ensures maximum protection for the filler, delivering exceptional resistance to varied pressures, extreme temperatures, and corrosive environments. Each piece is a testament to meticulous handmade precision, available in a rich variety of shapes and sizes, with a premium selection of metals and fillers. Featuring configurable internal ribs for enhanced versatility, these gaskets are an essential component for heat exchanger applications. They necessitate precision flange surfaces and elevated bolt loads to secure an optimal seal, underscoring the importance of attention to detail and superior quality.
Single jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with one sealing surface, entirely enveloped by a metal jacket that shields both the outer diameter (OD) and inner diameter (ID). These gaskets are perfectly suited for narrow flange widths and excel in low-pressure valve and pump applications, ensuring reliable performance.
Double jacketed gaskets showcase an extraordinary two-piece metal jacket design, fully encapsulating the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces with precision. These gaskets are predominantly indispensable for heat exchanger applications, adeptly managing corrosive and high-temperature environments with remarkable efficiency.
Internal ribs, also known as pass partition bars, are seamlessly integrated or expertly welded into the design. This ensures the primary seal's integrity remains uncompromised across all configurations, reinforcing reliability and durability.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs perfectly complement pipeline flanges and the sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Meanwhile, those with intricate shapes excel in complex applications, such as flange covers of heat exchangers. Typically, these versatile and reliable general gaskets measure 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness and can withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa.
Jackets are expertly crafted from a refined selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more. This variety ensures optimal performance across diverse applications.
The filler materials are chosen for their resilience and include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, among other high-performance options, ensuring adaptability and reliability in demanding environments.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), reflecting our commitment to exacting standards and unparalleled precision.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring exceptional accuracy;
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the utilization of Class 600 for optimal compatibility;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, the absence of Class 600 flanges requires the adoption of Class 1500, providing suitable alternatives;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, necessitating alternative configurations for superior performance.
