DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Crafted with precision and excellence, our metal jacketed gaskets are a testament to engineering prowess. Featuring a robust metallic shell, they encase a resilient filler that stands strong against pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is lovingly handmade, offering an array of shapes and sizes with top-tier metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs enhance their versatility, making them an essential choice for heat exchanger applications. Note that precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads are paramount to achieve a flawless seal.
Single jacketed gaskets boast one surface, completely enveloped in a metal jacket covering both OD and ID. Perfectly suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Ingeniously designed, double jacketed gaskets feature a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Primarily utilized in heat exchangers, they excel in managing corrosive and high-temperature environments with remarkable efficiency.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly incorporated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains impeccable in all configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and internal-combustion machine surfaces. Intricate shapes excel in flange covers of heat exchangers and similar purposes. General gaskets typically range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, handling maximum pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them both versatile and dependable.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from an array of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, and monel.
The filler options include durable expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring rigorous standards are met.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are not available, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are not available, requiring Class 1500 instead.
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
